White Espadrilles

Are you look forward to a beautiful, long summer? I know I am! Here are some of my favorite white espadrilles picks for Summer 2010:

Espadrilles are a super chic yet casual shoe style anyway, and white espadrilles go perfectly with any sort of flirty, frilly, or light colored outfit in the spring or summer! I’ve seen them worn with lovely pastel dresses and slim cut denim jeans, and everything in between, and they look stunning every single time!

Just remember that leather and other thick materials on the wedge sandals will get hot in the summertime, so you may want to limit your white espadrille search to cotton and other light fabrics. Similarly, espadrilles with lots of straps will get hot and sticky in the sun, so look for simple, thong or slip-on style wedges to avoid sweating in your shoes!

These cute blue patterned espadrilles are one of the cutest and boldest pairs I’ve seen in a while – where to start? The navy, periwinkle, and white crossed ginham design complete with little red strawberries in the pattern? The little white circle heel buckle? The navy with white polka dots interior? The strip of hot pink border on the bottom of the soles that you overlook at first glance, because of all the other details? I’m not sure, but I love everything about this shoe, plus it’s going for half-price right now!
